The core of the book is Nando, a memorable protagonist who has lived life to the full, his staple being clubs, bars and festivals. Now he is in lockdown and he not only needs to understand his friends, but is also confronted with a self he was barely aware of. Rumbled, Jas, Airia and Marcellina all orbit around him, giving life to a number of tragicomic events that lead towards an unexpected ending. Past and present blend nicely and the reader will split his sides laughing, on the one hand, but also realise that the unpredictability of life can make us all feel infinitely small, on the other.
